In the vibrant city centre of Tilburg, Max (27) lives in a stylish apartment that he has decorated entirely to his own taste. Since he came into contact with Room108 last year, his interior design style has gained momentum. “I was immediately inspired by the atmosphere and look of the furniture. I am now trying to translate that style into my own home.”

The eye-catcher of the apartment is the Victoria sofa by Room108. “I saw it in the Whoon store in Oisterwijk and was immediately sold,” says Max. “The light color radiates tranquility and the arrangement with the divan and open corner creates a spacious feeling, even in an apartment.” Max chose the fabric Lund in the color Natural 01, one of our favorite combinations with this sofa. The sofa is not only beautiful, but also functional. “When friends come over, we always sit here. Everyone loves sitting on the sofa. My favorite spot? In the corner of the divan. A FRESH START

When Max got his new apartment, he decided to build it from scratch. “I painted all the walls in a beige shade to create a calm base,” he says. “Then I bought all the furniture new. Only the floor remained.” This created a warm and contemporary base that he could connect to his personal style.

MODERN WITH A LUXURY TWIST

Max describes his living style as modern with a luxurious twist. Think of sleek lines, soft hues and rich materials, combined with comfort and functionality. “I want my interior to look stylish, but above all it has to feel good. A place where you can really come home.”

He gets a lot of inspiration from social media and the well-known inside views of Room108. “I regularly see beautiful combinations there and then try them out in my own home. I also sometimes ask colleagues or an interior consultant for advice.

SMALL ADJUSTMENTS, BIG DIFFERENCE

Although Max pays a lot of attention to his interior, he is not someone who constantly changes everything. “I change something small every now and then, but if it feels good, I leave it like that. I would like to add a high-pile carpet. That seems to me to be just that extra layer that makes the space even cozier.” To give Max some inspiration, we took our carpet Davis (in the color Taupe/Gray), what a match!

It is no longer a secret that Max is a fan of Room108. “The atmosphere they create in their collections and interior views is completely in line with what I like. It helps me to get new ideas and to refine my own style even further.”
